Reason to come back?
Hey all. I've played guild wars since the first one came out waaay back when. Have a numerous amount of 20's deleted and made over and over again, basically i've played a lot. I quit about a year ago and played some world of warcraft but im bored of it.
Anything big happened in the past 6 months or so? It seems like blizzard updates their game very rapidly and NCsoft hardly had any upgrades besides the expansion packs. Is this the same game I played about 6-8 months ago? (Yes I have every expansion and played them all throughly) |

Please ignore the cynics, although both of the above posters eventually gave you some good info. Welcome back if you stay.

I suggest you try Aion Beta, the huge instances of the early levels could be a hint how Guild Wars 2 could turn out. It also has stunning looks, like most NCSoft games. Not sure about City of Heroes.

there hasn't been any meaningful updates in over 2 years, i don't see why it would be suddenly worthwhile to play again.

I'd suggest looking into other hobbies. Maybe learn a musical instrument. |

Not sure if the OP is bothering to continue reading this thread or not but let me put in my 2cents.
I also started playing the game since it came out and also was away for over a year and came back around the 4rth anniversery of guild wars just to check what mini's I got. I saw the update about free storage and other storage panes plus the zaishen quests. I got my free pane for the two accounts that I own and then came back to the game around end of may. I'm hooked now on the zaishen quests. I want to get extra packs for all my chars and it is fun playing the game again after all this time. The game is still the same, nothing changed so if the extra storage does not interest you then you won't really get into it. But if you like the extra storage and have some chars that you want to level and do HM stuff with then the year off that you had was a good break and you will get in fresh with GW. |
